Class III biohazard safety cabin

The hood has been designed and built with a hermetically sealed work area to guarantee the highest level of personal protection from biological risk.

The incoming air passes through a HEPA filter and is then completely expelled through a double layer of ULPA filters placed in series.

The air flow is guaranteed by a specific suction system, which maintains a negative pressure (about 124.5 Pa) inside the hood.

Access to the work area is ensured by latex sleeve gloves positioned and fixed, by means of flanges, on the front of the hood.

The product, although handled in a sterile environment, is instead subject to the risk of cross-contamination due to the turbulence of the air flow inside the work area. The turbulent motions of the air therefore make them unsuitable if it is necessary to guarantee the sterility of the product.

Structure

- external carpentry in steel sheet (thickness 15/10), epoxy powder painting, RAL 7035

- working chamber in 304 stainless steel, scotch-brite surface finish with rounded corners and edges, completely surrounded by air gap in depression

- work area completely enclosed and hermetically sealed, accessible only from the material box

- material box built on the left side of the appliance, with double door in tempered hermetically sealed glass and equipped with a safety block with key

- worktop in stainless steel 304

- transparent front safety screen in 8 mm thick tempered glass, equipped with 5 sealing knobs for closing

- front access panel to the work area equipped with 2 extensible rubber latex gloves, which can be replaced from the outside with the Glove IN / Glove OUT method

- absolute filtration of the external suction air realized on the right side of the appliance by means of 1 absolute HEPA filter with 99.995 MPPS efficiency according to EN1822 (ex 99.999% according to Fed. Std. 209 E and BS 3928)

- absolute filtration of the air exploded by means of 2 layers of ULPA class H15 filters with 99.9995 MPPS efficiency according to EN 1822

- total expulsion of the air outside the building (zero recirculation) by sealed (azione 250 mm) PVC or galvanized steel pipe or other appropriate material (to be paid by the customer)

- connection attachment for DOP Test instruments on the ejection manifold

- remote radial fan in polypropylene (the technical and dimensional characteristics of the fan must be established based on the type and length of the channeling required) (in the cost of the Three Activa the fan is excluded)

- self-regulation of the preset flow rate according to the progressive clogging of the absolute input filter and the 2 absolute filters in exhaust

- self-regulation of the speed of the circulating air impossible to tamper with by unauthorized personnel (with parameters that can be reset to modify the standard calibration)

- real-time verification of the incoming air flow (in m / sec) via digital display

- 20 Watt UV lamp with interlocking activation compared to fluorescent lighting

- electronic card controlled by a microprocessor

- membrane keyboard (soft touch) with antistatic protection

Control panel

On the control panel, which encloses the electronic card controlled by a microprocessor, there are:

- general switch O / I bipolar light

- membrane keyboard (soft touch) with antistatic protection.

- digital display with indication of the circulating air speed (in m / sec)

- digital electronic hour meter for general operation

- digital electronic hour meter for U.V.

- U.V. lamp operation timer a countdown set by the customer with auto-off at the end of the cycle

- insufficient air speed alarm or internal working chamber depression

- pre-alarm of next filter change with indication on the display

- pre-alarm for next UV lamp change with indication on the display
